Heard it on the river: Pearl River offers new club card program

24 June 2009

By Rudi Schiffer

It's not an easy thing to change over a players club reward system and come up with an improved program but Pearl River Resort has done just that for its Golden Moon and Silver Star casinos with increased benefits under its new tier approach.

"The Tier Card is an exciting and important enhancement to our rewards program, " said Susan O'Connell, general manager of Pearl River Resort. "It's a natural evolution that serves as the ultimate method to reward and provide more incentive for our players."

The Tier card's three levels begin with a Silver card, move up to Gold and end with Platinum rewards. The rewards are extensive and give players numerous choices on how to redeem their earned points at each tier. For instance, a qualified Gold Card provides some 15 different options for point redemptions, from free play to hotel stays and player's parties to exclusive spa packages, dining and more.

The benefits list allows the player to choose and one important element for all levels is the BonusBet and SureBet that provides free play at slots and table games. BonusBet provides non-cashable credits on the players card for that most popular of all casino games, slots. Using the Tier Card players can access their account on their favorite slot machine and download free play. SureBet is the name for vouchers representing non-cashable table game credits that may be played at blackjack, roulette, Three Card poker and so on.

The new tier system has only been in service for a few weeks but the response has been positive. "The program has already received rave reviews from our guests because it allows us to reward them accordingly, 'said O'Connell. "The more our guests play, the more points they earn and the more benefits they can enjoy.

Pearl River Resort, a development of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, is located on Highway 16 West near Philadelphia, MS.
